Midland Beach pastor caves, but will Islam still reign?

If you can't stand the heat --- give in to the bigots.

Rev. Keith Fennessy, the ill-fated pastor of the church that owns the convent in the paranoid neighborhood of Midland Beach, sent a letter to Archbishop Timothy M. Dolan that declares his reservations about the sale of the convent to the Muslim American Society.

Fennessy finally decided that sale would "not serve the needs of the parish." Really?

He did, however, sign a contract to sell the damn thing, for $750,000 no less. (Sharia Law does not come cheap people!)

And wait, it gets worse.

Check out what, Ayman Hammous, the president of the Muslim American Society's SI branch said:

"But at this point, as far as I am concerned, we still have a deal. We are not backing off."

Holy shit, it's a throw down -- they are not leaving.

Oh yeah and btw, Yasmin Ammirato, president of the Midland Beach Civic Association, is relieved, not cause of the Sharia Law/Terrorism shit, but because of the parking issues. fuck outta here.

  1. Ooooh, what biting commentary.

Youre some pitbull behind the keyboard but I've seen you at martini red, always looking like youre about to stamp your feet and throw a temper tantrum. You don't know how close you got to getting embarrassed a few months ago.

  4. Whoever 'e' is: I'm a reader of this blog, and I like it -- including the open mind of its author(s). If you're going to make threatening sounding comments like this, then you have just offended ME. I go to Martini Red sometimes too, so watch your back. If I find out who you are I'll slap you. (it's easy to make threats anonymously, isn't it?)
