The headliners are emerging Brooklyn indie rockers Shark? but the rest of the itinerary is full of cream-of-the-crop Staten Island-connected acts
The always-entertaining, sometimes-costumed, Rabbits (formerly Dead Rabbits) open up at 8 pm, so get there early. Staten Island's prolific punk band Great Unwashed will be there as well.
And also, AWE's own, music writer Ben Johnson has a band called Conversion Party. Their 2008 album 'More No More' was an overlooked gem - think melodic indie rock, early Spoon.
